COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATE

Due to the current prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, we have a few important instructions that you need to follow before and during your visit to our practice.

As YOUR safety is our priority, the following steps are ensured to keep you and our staff safe .

• Once and appointment is made with our chief dentist, your will be sent a form to fill. Kindly fill the digital form and submit (Click here).

•  Appointment times are limited and overlaps are not expected.

• Complete disinfection of the operatory will be done between appointments. So a waiting period of at least 10 or 15 mins is expected.

• All instruments undergo a thorough sterilization protocol.

• We have trained ourselves and our team with basic infection control and hygiene protocols specific to COVID 19.

• Our staff will be using appropriate PPE , including N95 Masks, face shields, Gowns and will implement complete disinfection between patients.

The following protocol needs to be followed by you at the clinic.

Upon your arrival to our office, we request you leave you footwear outside , wait at the door and ring the bell to let us know that you have arrived. You are adviced to come alone or ask the accompanying person to wait outside, or in the car. Kindly brush your teeth just before coming to the clinic. Additionally we recommend you use a 0.2% Chlorhexidine mouthrise to rinse your mouth for at least 1 min.

1. Please follow the lead of our clinical assistant who will guide you through our UPDATED protocols, which includes, temperature assessment and Oxygen saturation assessment using a pulse oximeter.

2. Kindly download and keep the AROGYA SETHU APP ON.

3. Your are required to fill out a dental and medical health history form upon arrival. 

4. Your will then move to the sterile operatory for assessment and discussion with the chief dental surgeon, Keep your mask on until the next step.

5. Before assessment the assisstant will provide a mouthrinse , with which you will be required to rinse for one minute. 

6. Kindly avoid carrying additional bags. 

7. If you are using the restroom or exiting and reentering our office, we ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided upon reentry.

We request you to avoid your visit if:

1. You have symptoms of flu; Cold, Cough, running nose or other symptoms suggestive of a respiratory distress.

2. You have been in contact with a COVID19 Positive patient.

3. You reside in a containment zone.

4. You have attended any social gatherings.

5. Your family members have been diagnosed as COVID positive.
